Hank is fascinated by insects of all kinds. Yesterday he learned the consequences of picking up a bee - he got stung on his thumb. He was VERY upset and I couldn't get him calmed down for nearly half and hour. I removed the stinger and he had just minimal swelling, but it really must have hurt. Rene and Corrina haven't been stung yet, but they'd rather run from bees than pick them up.

Corrina is MUCH MUCH better and had a FANTASTIC day at school. She couldn't wait to leave for school this morning and coaxed Tony into leaving about 10 minutes early.Her teachers said she was like a different child today and were so glad she feels better. They found it cute that after the bathroom break she inadvertently got into the kindergarten line - they said she was half the size of the kindergarteners, and all the kindergarteners were saying "Hey, that's Rene's sister!" She was all smiles when she came out and was so wound up that we stopped by the playground after school to run off some energy. I did not get a picture of her haircut today - but it looks fine. S

Rene has a sore throat and kept waking up crying last night. Today she was sniffly, but didn't seem too sick. Already tonight she's woken up in a night terror - inconsolably crying for about 15 minutes. Rene gets those fairly often and the books say kids aren't technically awake during a night terror.
