I haven't updated in a while. I wanted to share a few pictures from our trip to Splash Lagoon indoor water park up in Erie, PA last week. The kids had a great time - we stayed in an adjoining hotel. It was nicely set up and seemed to be geared toward younger kids. Rene LOVED it - loved playing in all the pools and going down all the slides. Hank had a great time on the baby slides and the 18-inch baby pool - he paddled around (with his feet on the bottom) shouting "Look at me - I'm swimming!" and he even joined Rene on the smallest big slide - lots of curves but no serious drops - big splash at the bottom - he loved it! Corrina is a little lady and didn't want any water splashing on her, her face, or her hair - even the lazy river was too much for her (it had a waterfall at one point). She much preferred floating around in a floatie in the hotel pool, but she did seem to enjoy floating around in the 40-person kiddie hot tub.

We are eagerly awaiting spring. It got above freezing today so we hit the playground - sneaker-skated on some large frozen puddles and got some fresh air and some rare sunshine. We're waiting for warm weather, open schedules and lazy days again!
Speaking of skating - Rene is taking a 4-session ice skating course. She's had 3 lessons and seems to be doing great! She can skate around easily, turn around, stop, and skate backwards slowly.
