Here's a picture of Rene and Jimmy before their swimming lesson. In Level 5 they swim 2 laps at a time(freestyle and backstroke). They also do sidestroke and breaststroke. The coach is going to keep them in Level 5 one more time - in Level 6 they will swim 100 yards (4 laps at a time) as well as learn butterfly stroke and jumping dives.

Hank was signed up for swimming lessons this time, but he was too attached to mom to really participate. He spent maybe an hour in the water over 6 weeks. He loves the water - as long as I'm in it with him.



Wait, I just went up to read bedtime stories to the kids, who were being too quiet...and here's what I saw... Rene was reading to them! Oh I LOVE this picture!
