Hank's class sang a few songs, including "Everybody's got to grow. Bumblebees and buffalo. From the tip of your nose to your big fat toe, everybody's got to grow." One of the verses is about a frog - Hank jumped so high he fell down! (Also notice, Melina, who is beside Hank - she had her hands over her face the entire time!) There are pictures of Hank eating ice cream, and then washing his hands. The principal, Sr. Delia handed out certificates, shaking each child's hand. When she extended her hand to Hank, he "gave her five" - with a HARD slap! That's something he learned from the kindergarten teacher, who has found it is a good way to get past his shyness!

Corrina wanted to wear her "ballerina princess" Halloween costume to her end of year program, and I let her! They did several songs in sign language, including "Somewhere out there, beneath the pale moonlight. Someone's thinking of me, and loving me tonight," from An American Tail. The last picture is Corrina's teacher, Mrs. Laughlin, with Corrina's friend, Mikayla. Mikayla's dad got out of the hospital the day before the program, and is doing very good. He is even walking without assistance. It was wonderful that he was able to come to the program for Mikayla.
