Saturday we had our diabetes walk (JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes). Hank raised $1440. We had nice weather, walked two miles, and did lots of fun kid activities at the finish. Since Hank raised over $1000, he will receive a Golden Sneaker award at the awards ceremony in November! Hank understands that we are giving the money to the doctors so they can try to find ways to cure diabetes. He just wants them to hurry!
