We took the kids to an amusement park called Idlewild this year. It's about 45 minutes away and is geared for younger kids. They have standard amusement park rides, a place called storybook forest, where you walk through sets for different fairy tales, and a water park. The day we went it was very hot and humid and very crowded, but the kids had a great time.
