All three kids went to overnight camp this week! Rene and Corrina went to Camp Fitch on Lake Erie. It's a huge, well funded camp, with lots of facilities. They sleep in cabents, which looks like a cabin with no walls. Instead, they can roll down canvas walls if needed. Rene's cabent overlooked lake Erie. Corrina's was across a field. They had a great time there, sang camp songs and cheers all the way home!
Hank went to diabetes camp at Camp Crestfield in Slippery Rock PA. Every camper had diabetes, and some also had celiac! Hank had a fantastic time and actually wrote me a few letters while he was there! His favorite activity is swamp ball - where the kickball bases are large mud puddles (full of wild creatures!)
