Rene has been waiting ALL year to celebrate her 13th birthday with the opening of the latest Harry Potter movie, " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I" . How lucky for her that it was set to be released 3 days before her birthday. She had some of her friends come over after school (Gwyneth, Christine, Janet, and Stephanie), played some ping pong to let off some of that excitement, and went to see Harry Potter! You can see in the pics that Rene decided to spray black hair coloring on her hair a la Bellatrix Lestrange. Rene LOVED the movie except for a very awkward part where there is an illusion of Harry and Hermione kissing that is meant to disturb Ron. Instead, it disturbed Rene and her friends (and me too!). Many thanks to Dad for ordering up the tickets.
Happy Birthday Rene! Aren't we glad to have an official teenager in the house!
