Kennywood

Corrina was at camp the week St. Rosalia went to Kennywood, so Tony let them each pick a friend and arranged a trip before the season ended. We had a bit of rain, but the kids didn't mind, and the lines were short!  Most of the pictures are of Hank and Derek.  Rene and Christine, and Corrina and Lexi went off on their own, but I managed to get Rene to take me on a few roller coasters before the day was over :)





This is a picture of the Edgar Thomson Steel Works across the river from Kennywood. The contrast of the colorful joyful amusement park and the dark dreary smoky steel mill always strikes me. I wish I could get both in one shot.
