We had a daytime snowstorm, and there was some confusion at Rene's school. At 2:30 I got a call saying her bus had left without her and I needed to come get her. I headed out in the all-wheel drive, so the snow wasn't the problem - it was the gridlock. It took me two hours to get to the school. I was very glad to see one of the teachers patiently waiting there with Rene and the other students who had to wait for hours for rides.
