Hank's blocker has taken such a beating that he could no longer keep it on his hand. Hockey gear usually is NEVER in the house because it has an ungodly hockey stench.The blocker was especially horrible because it had NEVER been washed - the palm was black! I washed it out so I could touch it without gagging and bought a pack of scrap leather. I bloodied and bruised my fingers, broke 3 needles, and resorted to using pliers to pull the needle,but finlly at 3am, Hank has a repaired blocker! He owes me a shutout after this!
