Corrina has had a cold - coughing and runny nose, but not feeling too bad. Now that she's about over the cold, she's started complaining of ear pain, and last night she WILLINGLY took some tylenol. I went ahead and sent her to school this morning, but I am taking her to the doc today at 2:30 to check for an ear infection.
This morning Hank discovered that he is finally tall enough to throw his matchbox cars over the stair gate one by one and watch them tumble down the stairs. Now he and Rene have made a track of cushions between the two couches and are jumping off the arm of one couch, across the cushions to the other cough. Hank's picked up the habit of saying "1,2,3, go" from the girls, but when he counts, I think he's saying "7-8-9, go!" because it sounds more like "eh, ay, aie, Doh!" :-)
Rene is enhanted by the Cinderella DVD we got from the library - interesting, because it is the 1964 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical with a young Leslie Warren as Cinderella. It's not at all glitzy - it has a fake-looking theatre set and the magical moments are marked by swirling lights that look almost like flashlights. I was surprised at how it grabbed her attention since she's so used to today's computer animation. She seems really intriqued by the mean step-sisters. And she seems to like the actors breaking into song.
