Corrina made the cutest groundhog craft at school today and she's so proud of it. They colored a groundhog, cut it out and taped it to a straw, then stuck the straw into a styrofoam cup. So you can push the groundhog up out of the cup to see his shadow.

Rene went to gymnastics and after we picked up Corrina we went to the library. As we walked in, Rene had to go to the bathroom - which required removing her coat, gloves, shirt, and leotard. And gave Hank an opportunity to go play with the water cooler (the kind with a big jug of water on top, with the levers RIGHT at Hank's level) and get water all over the floor :-( Once we got that cleaned up, the kids picked a lot of books. They USUALLY pick a few videos too, but....Hank stuck a play-money coin into the vcr last week. I took the vcr apart and tinkered for quite a while and managed to remove the coin and the library's 101 Dalmations Tape, but the vcr is kaput. Luckily, we learned today that the library has a small collection of DVDs for checking out!! Rene picked Magic School Bus, Cinderella, and 101 Dalmations (on DVD this time). Note to Nee Nee - they did not have "Kitchen Privileges", but the librarian ordered it for me on inter-library loan, so I'll have it soon.
