First Day of School!

Here's a picture of the kids on the first day of school.



Hank is in kindergarten and his teacher is Mrs. Benec. There are 17 kids in his class; he is the only one going half-day. I pick him up at 11:30. Notice his very cool firetruck lunchbox. His backpack is plain blue, the way he likes it. He won't have to wear uniforms until next year.

Corrina's in second grade, and her teacher is Mrs. Kelly. There are 12 kids in her class this year - they got one new student this year. Corrina started off with a Bratz backpack, but she got a Disney Princess one for her birthday and she uses that one now.

Rene is in third grade. Her teacher is Mrs. DiPaolo and there are 16 kids in her class; one student from last year went to a different school, but they got a new student this year. Rene picked a black velvet backpack with a diamond outline of Hello Kitty on it. Turns out a classmate, Gwyneth, has the same backpack, and Kaitlin in first grade also has it!
