OCEAN CITY
This year we went to Ocean City in August - the weather was hot, the waves were big , and we had a GREAT time! Joe and Val's kids, Olivia and Brian, both got sick during the vacation, so that was a bit of a damper since the kids love to play with their cousins.

The waves were really big and Rene and Hank had a blast in the waves; Hank got some sand-burn from being tossed around by the waves! Corrina went to the boardwalk with Joe and Val, Hank went that same night with Tony. Tony tried to take Rene down later in the week, but Ocean City is more crowded in August, and they spent several hours in the car and never made it through the traffic. So instead Rene got to have a nice Italian dinner with Tony and bought herself a nice outfit in one of the shops.
Some of the highlights were playing minigolf, eating ice cream at Dumsers, watching the crabbers down at the park, swimming in the condo pool, watching Disney channel on the condo tv ("Mom, why can't we get cable?"), and running to the nearby Hallmark shop to satisfy Hank's Webkinz obsession.

And yes, Corrina's ball went right into the middle of that pool of water. We didn't get many pictures this time, and there was only one time that we were all at the beach together, so we didn't manage to get a Scopes group pictures on the beach this year.
