9 year old Tournament Team

Regular season baseball is over. Hank's team lost only one game in the regular season, and made it to the "World Series" of their league, but lost the series to the A's.  What a great season they had!

Hank was selected to be on the 9 year old tournament team, and they started their first tournament this weekend.  We were at the ball field from 1 to 8 on Saturday (one loss, one win), then back again on Sunday.  We showed up at 5 for a 6pm game, but they didn't get to play until 8.  It was a long wait,  but well worth it, because this was an exciting game!  It was a night game under the lights, and it was a high-scoring game that took THREE HOURS! They were tied 13 to 13 at the end of the game, and went two extra innings before Hank's team finally scored to win.  We finally got home at 11:30pm!
