Glasses

Corrina and Rene went for their optometrist appointments today and $450 later they walked out with these (yes Rene is back in braces for "phase two"). These were pictures we took in the store when they were trying to decide on frames.




Corrina had glasses already but wouldn't wear them because "they don't look good"  (is this vain child really mine?)  The doctor told her all that squinting was making her vision worse... and giving her wrinkles!  She had a lot of trouble picking glasses, but selected these because they are turquoise on the inside, and there are flaps on the earpieces so you can turn the turquoise side out.  Corrina is still hesitant to wear them, but she saw an INSTANT difference when she put them on. Poor girl's vision is 20/100!!!

Rene didn't get glasses last time, but this time he said it is time to get them.  She picked these glasses because they fit her school nickname... "Barbie"  You can'see in this picture, but there are small rhinestones on the sides. Rene only needs her glasses for boardwork and movies - her vision is 20/40.
